How the work is done in agri

Scattered work, often alone and with machines turning at clothing height. Silos, slurry pits and the power take-off account for the serious accidents.

The jobs that set the pace

  • Tillage and harvesting
  • Feeding and livestock handling
  • Emptying silos and pits
  • Plant protection product application
  • Irrigation and pumping maintenance

The facilities it comes with as standard

  • Livestock housing
  • Milking parlour
  • Feed store
  • Silos and dryer
  • Agricultural machinery workshop
  • Slurry lagoon
  • Plant protection product store
  • Irrigation and pumping
  • Packing centre

Lockout/tagout, with isolation point and verification

The dashboard does not ask “what energies does your equipment have?”: in the agri profile they are already there, each one with where it is isolated and how you check that it is isolated. It is what an inspection asks to see in writing.

The high-risk procedures, written down

Five procedures specific to agri, written in the vocabulary of the sector and available inside the dashboard so you can adapt them to your plant.

Entry into a grain silo

Grain swallows like quicksand: never alone, harness anchored from outside and screw conveyors locked out.

Slurry pits

H₂S and CH₄ give no warning: ventilate, measure from outside and never go in for a rescue without equipment.

Power take-off and driveshaft

Stop, disengage and check it has stopped before touching anything: clothing caught gives you no second chance.

Raised implement

Never underneath without a chock: hydraulics give way without a sound.

Plant protection products

Mixing with PPE, triple rinse and the re-entry interval signposted in the field.

What the dashboard does with all this

Contractors and coordination of activities

Contractors working on site join free, upload their documentation and the traffic light decides who can work. RD 171/2004 coordination with minutes and signature.

Permits with QR codes

Work permit with a printable notice: in the field it is scanned and signed from a phone. LOTO warning when the job calls for it.

Maintenance and OEE

Queue prioritised by criticality, statutory maintenance schedules with their date, counters based on real usage and an OEE panel per line with a Pareto of stoppages.

Personnel and training

Fitness for work, training and health surveillance by job role, with the medical data kept outside the dashboard by design.
